Driven by the transformation of intelligent new energy and "ecological going to sea", Great Wall Motor grew particularly rapidly in the second quarter of 2023, quickly driving the upward trend, with a profit of 1.187 billion yuan, an increase of more than 580 percent compared with the first quarter and more than 500 percent year-on-year. The strong performance in the second quarter will provide a strong driving force for rapid growth in the second half of the year, and business operations will continue to improve.

The transformation of new energy has achieved results. The sales volume of new energy increased by more than 130% in the second quarter compared with the previous quarter.

In the first half of 2023, Great Wall Automobile continued to produce new energy products, and its sales volume continued to grow. Sales of new energy vehicles reached 65000 in the second quarter, an increase of more than 130% over the first quarter and 131% over the same period last year in the second quarter of 2022.

In the second quarter, Great Wall Automobile released a number of new energy explosive products, which aroused strong concern from the market and consumers. MAX, who first took advantage of the intelligent four-wheel drive electric hybrid technology Hi4, formed a single combination with Haveron, which became a new work of Hafron sequence and set off a national trend of four-wheel drive. Blue Mountain DHT- PHEV, the first flagship six-seat model of Wei Brand, continued to sell well and became a new benchmark in the 300000 yuan family big six SUV market. Tank brand's first new energy model, Tank 500Hi4-T, opens up a blue sea of "new energy + off-road" market with hard core strength. Since its listing, the order has exceeded 10000, and the sales heat continues.

Continuing the growth trend in the second quarter, Great Wall Automobile has launched intelligent new energy in an all-round way. With Hi4, Hi4-T and China's first new energy high-end MPV exclusive platform as the technology base, Great Wall launched a number of new energy products during the Chengdu auto show. Harvard Raptors, tank 400Hi4-T started pre-sale, Wei brand Gaoshan DHT-PHEV began to accept reservations. New technology empowerment and the outbreak of new products are promoting the upward breakthrough in the proportion of intelligent new energy of Great Wall cars and the healthy development of sales structure.

Strong performance in overseas markets overseas sales rose 38% in the second quarter

In the first half of 2023, Great Wall Motor launched a full-speed effort in the overseas market, with overall sales of 123300 units, an increase of 80.2% over the same period last year, setting a record high for Great Wall automobile exports.

In the second quarter, Great Wall Motor performed strongly overseas, with export sales of 72000 units, up 38% from the first quarter and 114% from the second quarter of 2022.

Intelligent new energy products enter the global market. In the first half of the year, Harvard H6 HEV, Ola good Cat, Tank 300, Tank 500 and other models were put on the market in GCC, Latin America, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand and other overseas markets.

In addition, Great Wall Motor "ecological sea" strategy to accelerate the landing, overseas localization management continues to deepen. In the first half of the year, Great Wall's first parts center in the Middle East was opened in the United Arab Emirates, forming a 1CN parts guarantee system; the Vice President of Brazil visited the Great Wall factory in Brazil to witness the launch of Brazil's first hybrid flexible fuel pick-up truck project; and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan Automobile Group ADM Automobile Plant for cooperation in the development of the Uzbek market, Great Wall products will be produced locally.

The network of overseas dealers has been rapidly rolled out, and in the first half of the year, strategic partnerships were established with dealers such as Vietnam Chengan Group, Singapore Cycle & Carriage Group and Yingzhijie Group, and dozens of new overseas dealers were also established during the Shanghai Auto Show to accelerate the expansion of the global sales network and provide overseas consumers with smarter and cleaner products.

In the first half of 2023, Great Wall started squatting, and the trend was high.
