CTOnews.com, 31 August, 15:36 today, China successfully launched the remote sensing satellite 39 into orbit by using the long March 2d carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite launch Center. The launch mission was a complete success.

It is reported that this launch is the 485th launch of the long March series of carrier rockets. According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, the remote sensing satellite 39 was developed by the fifth and eighth institutes of the aviation, while the long March 2d carrier rocket was developed by the eighth academy.

The long March 2d carrier rocket is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket, which has the ability to launch single or multiple stars with different orbital requirements, corresponding to a 700 km solar synchronous orbit with a carrying capacity of 1.3 tons.

CTOnews.com Note: remote sensing satellite is a huge series of satellites studied and developed in China, which can be divided into synthetic aperture radar imaging, optical imaging, signal intelligence and so on. The earliest can be traced back to the remote sensing satellite No. 1 approved by Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute in February 1999. Remote sensing satellite 26 and its follow-up models are currently in use.

It is worth mentioning that the last launch was 04:02 on 27 July, and the remote sensing satellite 36 was successfully launched using the long March 2d carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite launch Center in Xichang Satellite launch Center, while remote Sensing 37 was launched on 13 January. It is not clear how to arrange the remote sensing satellite 38.
