According to news from CTOnews.com on August 31, Gree Electric Appliances today released its report for the first half of 2023, with operating income of 99.237 billion yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 4.22 percent over the same period last year, and a net profit of 12.673 billion yuan belonging to the parent company, an increase of 10.52 percent over the same period last year.

Gree Electric Appliances said that the company's consumer products include household air conditioners, HVAC, refrigerators, washing machines, water heaters, kitchen appliances, environmental products, etc., with Gree, TOSOT, Jinghong three major consumer brands and Lingda, Capang, Xinyuan and other industrial brands.

CTOnews.com found from the revenue composition table that Gree's air conditioning business still accounted for 70.54 per cent of revenue in the first half of 2023, reaching 69.997 billion yuan, with air conditioning revenue up 1.82 per cent year-on-year.

During the reporting period, Gree Electric Semiconductor products shipped more than 20 million pieces, self-developed chips, power devices shipped more than 100 million pieces; developed including 32-bit series MCU, AIoT SoC and power semiconductors and other products, can be widely used in consumer electronics, wearable devices, household products, health and medical accessories, commercial large units, industrial sensors, high-performance motor control and other fields.
