CTOnews.com August 31, Microsoft issued a press release today, announcing a change in the name of its Power Automate app, the new name is Workflows.

CTOnews.com queries related information. Power Automate is Microsoft's SaaS platform for automating repetitive tasks. It belongs to the Microsoft Power Platform product family along with products such as Power Apps and Power BI.

Power Automate used Microsoft Flow before November 2019 to serve enterprises, easily create automated workflows, and improve productivity with business process automation.

Microsoft announced today that the application will be integrated into the existing Workflows in Microsoft Teams applications, and more AI enhancements may be introduced in the future. Microsoft stressed that the name change will not affect the existing services and functions of Power Automate.
