The NXTPAPER screen is originally TCL's own technology, so this global debut is a real debut.

According to the official TCL, NXTPAPER claims to provide a more paper-like viewing experience and reduce eye fatigue. The technology covers the LCD with a coating and lights the screen with natural light without the need for LED backlight, thus eliminating harmful blue light. Compared with E Ink ink screen, NXTPAPER display has higher refresh rate and better display effect.

In February this year, the latest NXTPAPER 2.0 display technology was launched on the TCL NXTPAPER 11 tablet, with a brightness of up to 500N, automatic color temperature adjustment and integrated light sensors to provide better visual effects.

Looking back at the phone, the new phone has two versions: TCL 40 NXTPAPER and TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G, and the product design is also different. Both new phones are equipped with light sensors that automatically adjust the display brightness and color temperature according to time and environment, as well as 3.5mm headphone jacks.

The TCL 40 NXTPAPER features a central hole-digging screen, a 6.78in 1080p 90Hz NXTPAPER display, dual speakers and 3D sound driven by DTS, and supports T-pen stylus.

The machine is equipped with 32MP front lens, rear 50MP master camera + 5MP ultra wide angle + 2MP macro triple camera; the body thickness is 7.89mm, equipped with Helio G88 chipset, 8GB + 256GB storage, and 5010mAh battery + 33W wired fast charge.

The TCL 40 NXTPAPER, priced at 199 euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1584 yuan), will be first launched in the European market in September.

TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G is a lower version, only the processor is upgraded to Tianji 6020, and other configurations are worse, such as 6.6in 720p 90Hz screen, 6GB memory and 15W charging, front 8MP droplet lens, rear 50MP + 2MP + 2MP triple camera, does not support T-pen stylus.

The TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G costs 249 euros (currently about 1982 yuan) and was first launched in the European market in October.
