CTOnews.com, Aug. 31 (Reuters)-Google announced on Wednesday local time that its generative AI search service SGE will be launched outside the United States for the first time, first in India and Japan.

According to reports, users in Japan and India need to join Search Labs before they can use this new feature. In terms of language, Japanese users can use this feature in Japanese, while Indian users can choose to use it in English and Hindi.

At the I / O developers' conference held in early May this year, Google announced the integration of spanning AI functions as "search" to help users bypass some operations in the search process, make it easier to understand new topics, find different views, and "make it easier to get the job done."

This feature introduces a dialogue mode for Google search, where users can "ask" Google questions about a topic, and Google will then return the answer. After several updates, Google added more AI-based "summary" features to search results earlier this month, such as "increasing the search weight of audio and video", "improving the speed of generating content summaries" and "marking source and time points for search results".
