According to reports, GCINE3243 uses a hybrid stack backlight (hybrid stacking BSI) process to achieve faster readout speed at 8K ultra-high resolution on the premise of high quantum efficiency.

The chip is made up of two layers of wafers stacked by Cu-Cu interconnection technology. The bottom readout circuit uses a full-frame memory module to support multiple readout, sampling, on-chip storage and summation under a single uninterrupted exposure of the top pixel, thus greatly increasing the full well capacity from 24keto (single pixel readout mode) to 96keg (four pixel readout mode), thus improving the dynamic range and maximum signal-to-noise ratio of the chip.

GCINE3243 uses 32 pairs of LVDS channels for data transmission, and its total data rate is 33.6Gbps. In 8K mode, you can achieve ultra-high definition video shooting of 60fps@14bit. In 4K mode, UHD video shooting of 4K 120fps@14bit is realized by merging 2x2 pixels on the chip. With windowing and other functions, the chip also supports 6K M43, 4K Supper 16 and other picture size output.

GCINE3243 supports a variety of high dynamic range output modes, including dual-gain HDR mode, on-chip compression HDR mode and multi-slope HDR mode. Thanks to the support of HDR technology, the highest dynamic range of the chip reaches 81dB.
