The highlight of the system lies in the use of machine learning to learn the user's habits, and then automatically switch between high-power state and low-power state at the right time.

Intel said that after the introduction of the AI power management system, battery performance can be improved by 15%, and more importantly, it optimizes the response mechanism of laptops and can interact with users more quickly.

Intel said that the core of the AI power management system is dynamic voltage and frequency sampling (DVFS) technology, which can constantly learn by itself, optimize power switching according to users' habits, and reduce power consumption to extend battery life.

Meteor Lake will be the first important client architecture to introduce AI acceleration core VPU to meet low-power AI reasoning tasks. Although Intel has made some disclosures about the Meteor Lake architecture, details about SKU, number of cores, clock speed and performance positioning have yet to be disclosed.
