CTOnews.com, August 29 (Xinhua)-- the Lutes model code-named Type 133, named EMEYA, will make its world debut on September 7. It is also the British brand's first high-performance car since the Carlton, and it is an all-electric design.

Lutes officials also released a warm-up video confirming that the new car will be equipped with surround LED taillights, unique rear wings and iconic LED lights on the front face, which is very similar to Lutes Eletre SUV.

Lutes calls the new car made in China the "hyper-GT", just as it calls the Eletre the world's first super SUV, which probably means the new car is very strong in terms of performance.

According to reports, the size of the Emeya will be similar to that of the star Polestar 5 luxury station wagon, which goes on sale next year, but Matt Windle, general manager of Lutes, has previously said that although there are some technology transfers, Geely allows its brands, including Polestar, to develop independently. This means that the new car will be significantly different in key aspects.

Lutes has not disclosed any technical details related to the model, but foreign media believe that the entry-level version may provide a dual-motor configuration and will bring about 602 horsepower to match the Taycan GTS, while the top Eletre R is expected to be equipped with a stronger motor that can increase the output power to 904 horsepower.

In addition, Emeya is expected to retain Eletre's 112kWh battery pack, which is expected to have a range of more than 400km (CTOnews.com Note: about 643.74 km) and will support 420kW fast charging.
