CTOnews.com August 29 news, Huayi Brothers released its 2023 semi-annual report that total operating income in the first half of the year was 339 million yuan, up 59.93 percent over the same period last year; operating profit was-132 million yuan, up 26.35 percent over the same period last year; total profit was-132 million yuan, up 26.56 percent over the same period last year; and net profit of shareholders belonging to listed companies was-143 million yuan, up 25.77 percent over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the main business income of the film and television entertainment sector reached 329 million yuan, an increase of 57.24% over the same period last year, and a number of films and TV dramas participated in and produced were shown and realized revenue; business income of brand licensing and live entertainment sector was 7.0755 million yuan, up 1400% over the same period last year; investment income was-1.6888 million yuan, an increase of 95.14% over the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the company's operating income increased by 59.93% compared with the same period last year, of which the business income of the film and television entertainment sector increased by 57.24% compared with the same period last year. The top five film and television works that earned income were "echo", "love is delicious", "wandering the earth 2", "rock Tibetan mastiff: braving the wind and waves" and "dunk master". The top five film and television works have a total income of 159 million yuan. It accounts for 46.87% of the operating income.
