According to reports, the 2023 High-level Forum on Global Energy Transformation, with the theme of "Green Transformation of Energy Security", is jointly sponsored by the Beijing Municipal people's Government, the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the China Geological Survey. It is hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of economy and Information Technology, the Resources and Environmental Policy Institute of the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Beijing Changping District Government, and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecological Environment.

The forum consists of the opening ceremony, the main forum, offline and online parallel meetings of 9 thematic sub-forums, as well as 3 closed-door seminars, exhibitions, a series of warm-up activities and signing and unveiling ceremonies.

According to the public information obtained by CTOnews.com, the Global Energy Transformation High-level Forum has been held four times in 2019-2022. At the 2022 Congress, the official also released the "Progress report of China's Energy Revolution-Energy supply Revolution (2022)" and "2022 cases of Commercial Application of Energy Storage Technology and Systems".

In addition, 18 major energy projects were signed at the forum at that time, and promised to achieve revenue of more than 20 billion yuan in the next three to five years. Newly signed financial institutions can provide 90 billion yuan of intentional strategic credit to important projects, major projects and key enterprises in the region.

According to the official time, the forum has cumulatively invited top experts from more than 20 countries to share cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, attracting well-known enterprises and institutions at home and abroad to show the latest technological innovation achievements in the energy field.
