In fact, China Telecom began to promote the upgrading of 2G network a long time ago. For example, Tianyi Telecom Terminal Co., Ltd. announced that it would stop the storage of 2G and 3G mobile terminals from October 1, 2018. At present, China Telecom is vigorously promoting VoLTE, a high-quality audio and video call service based on 4G network, which is seen by the industry as preparation for the withdrawal of 2G and 3G networks.
