For details, please click "My Huawei> Home Page> Upgrade Taste" to sign up for the public beta version. After success, follow the page prompt "Go to Software Update" to download the version to upgrade.

Notes before upgrading (please read carefully):

(1) Before upgrading the public beta version, please back up important data of your device to PC or cloud (please do not back up to the internal storage space of the device), especially QQ, WeChat, third-party software migration backup separately, and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid, to avoid data incompatibility or other accidents after upgrading.

(2) Before upgrading the public beta version, please ensure that the current version of your device is on the baseline version (see II. Adapted models).

(3) Make sure the device has more than 8 gigabytes of internal storage space, otherwise there will be a risk of upgrade failure. (See Storage Space Method: Settings> Storage).

(4) Make sure your equipment is not ROOT.

It is worth mentioning that if your device has been upgraded to HarmonyOS 4 version, you no longer need to participate in this activity. Huawei has started to push new versions to users on HarmonyOS 4 in batches. After the public beta, Huawei will also push the official version to users on the public beta version in batches.

Huawei said that the public beta version is a test version released to the public during the version development phase.
