CTOnews.com, August 29, according to the latest report released by market research firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR), the global GPU market for PC in the second quarter of 2023 was $61.6 million (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 449 million yuan), down 23% from the same period last year.

Overall, the compound annual growth rate of PC GPU for the period 2022-2026 will be 3.70%, and the total size is expected to reach 2.998 billion tablets by the end of 2026. JPR speculates that the penetration of independent graphics cards (DGPU) for PC will increase to 32%.

According to the statistical report, shipments of PC's GPU (covering all platforms and all types of GPU) fell 27% year-on-year, with desktop GPU down 36% and laptop GPU down 23%.

When it comes to brands, AMD's share is up 1.2 percent from the previous quarter, Intel is down 0.4 percent and Nvidia is down 0.8 percent.

Overall, GPU unit shipments increased by 12.4% over the previous quarter. AMD's shipments increased by 22.9%, Intel's shipments increased by 11.7%, and Nvidia's shipments increased by 7.5%.
