CTOnews.com, August 29 (Xinhua) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of Porsche 9 / 11, Porsche lifestyle Group has partnered with Puma to launch two limited edition sneakers. The two sneakers pay tribute to the classic and modern versions of 9 / 11, called Retro Sneaker and Heritage Sneaker, respectively, and will hold a special pre-sale event at the IAA Mobile Show in Munich on September 5.

The Retro Sneaker design is inspired by the classic narrow flat profile of the Porsche 911 S 2.5 in 1972. The upper is covered with suede leather, a smooth leather lining and a tongue with red stitches. The shoes are light blue with number 56 printed on them, paying homage to the car. The woven label on the tongue replicates the Porsche 911 S / T grille badge with the black and white 60 Years of Porsche 911 logo, which is also decorated on the brown leather tag on the shoe. Only 1972 pairs of retro sneakers are produced, each with a separate serial number.

The Heritage Sneaker has a more modern silhouette in blue-gray tones, and the smooth leather upper is based on the body color of the 911 S / T anniversary model, while the shoe lining is the same cognac brown as the car interior. The 63 represents the year Porsche was born on 9 / 11 and is also the total Heritage Sneaker output, with only 1963 pairs. It is also printed with a colorful 60 Years of Porsche 911 logo on the listing, which is made of the same leather as the outside of the shoe.

The new 911S / T, a lightweight version of the current 992 series, borrows parts from GT3 RS and GT3 Touring and starts at $291650 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2.126 million yuan) (excluding options). Porsche has not yet announced the price of the two sneakers.
