CTOnews.com August 29, Microsoft today released a blog post introducing the new multi-tenant organization solution (MTO) in Microsoft Teams 2.0 to enhance users' chat experience between different departments within the same organization / publicity.

Microsoft said that after upgrading to the new Teams app, users can contact multiple tenants and accounts in a side-by-side window, join meetings or collaborate in a channel hosted by another tenant, and write chat messages in their own tenants at the same time. They can also receive cross-tenant notifications from all accounts and tenants added to the Teams client.

Microsoft's new Teams app also brings a whole new search experience, which can present colleagues from different tenants in search results.

Tenants created by departments or employees: departments or employees in an organization create tenants for development, testing, or independent control.
