CTOnews.com August 28 news that cloud storage offers for enterprise users have gradually disappeared. Microsoft will no longer provide new customers with the "unlimited storage" option of the OneDrive for Business program.

TechRadar found that OneDrive for Business, which costs $10 per user per month (Plan 2), has been removed from the shelves, and only OneDrive for Business (Plan 1) is left in Microsoft's cloud storage business plan.

CTOnews.com noted that the price of domestic OneDrive for Business (Plan 1) is 36 yuan per user per month, which provides the most 1TB cloud storage, and can be increased to 5TB according to the number of users. In addition, Microsoft provides storage space for each user 1TB for its two Microsoft 365 Business programs.

In order to meet the needs of customers, Microsoft has simplified the customer purchase process using OneDrive for Business independent programs. Customers who currently subscribe to these programs can still add seats and renew licenses.

Although Microsoft did not respond directly to this question, it seems that users who have previously subscribed to OneDrive for Business (Plan 2) can still use the program later, at least for the time being, but new subscribers certainly do not have a chance.

In addition, Dropbox announced last week that it had abandoned its unlimited cloud storage program for enterprises, claiming that many customers had abused these privileges to store things other than files.
