CTOnews.com August 28, Great Wall announced today that the GWM brand has successfully launched in Indonesia, marking the completion of the full coverage of the core regional markets of ASEAN countries (except East Timor), including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Laos, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Make up the latest ASEAN automobile market map of the global layout of Great Wall Automobile.

As early as 2021, Great Wall Motor opened the prelude to the territory of ASEAN, achieving full coverage of the core market areas of nine ASEAN countries in less than three years.

As CTOnews.com previously reported, in August this year, Great Wall launched the GWM brand in Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia, and built a complete new energy product matrix in the ASEAN market, including HEV, PHEV and BEV, covering Harvard, Euler and tank models.

Great Wall Motors also said that its presence in the ASEAN auto market over the past three years has enabled GWM to gain a cumulative total of more than 25000 new energy vehicle users and 1.6 million social media fans, making it the first Chinese car brand to have millions of fans in the ASEAN auto market.

According to official figures from Great Wall, 27007 cars were sold overseas in July, an increase of 83.6% over the same period last year, and overseas sales exceeded the 20, 000 mark for the fifth month in a row.
