CTOnews.com, Aug. 28, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's next-generation iPad Pro will be launched along with a redesigned keyboard accessory that makes the device more like a laptop.

In the latest issue of the Power On newsletter, Mr Gurman said the next iPad Pro would be the first major update to the product since 2018 and would bring "fundamental change". The new models, codenamed "J717", "J718", "J720" and "J721", will use M3 chips and OLED displays and will be available in 11-inch and 13-inch versions.

CTOnews.com noted that in addition to the significant improvements in the tablet itself, Gurman said the new smart keyboard would provide a larger trackpad and "make the iPad Pro look more like a laptop."

Mr. Goolman said the new iPad Pro and Mikhail keyboard are not expected to be released until the spring or early summer of 2024, and Apple is unlikely to make any changes to other iPad models until next year, and major updates to its product line next year could boost Apple's sluggish tablet sales.
