CTOnews.com August 27 news, China General Nuclear announced that Lufeng No. 6 unit, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongguang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., had carried out the first can concrete pouring (FCD) of the nuclear island on August 26, 2023, that is, Lufeng No. 6 unit started construction on that day and entered the civil construction phase.

According to reports, Lufeng No. 6 unit adopts Hualong No. 1 nuclear power technology, and the capacity of a single unit is 1200MW. After the start of Lufeng 6 unit, the number of nuclear power units under construction is 7, and the total installed capacity is 8408MW.

As of August 25, 2023, China General Nuclear Corporation closed at 3.15 yuan, up 2.27%, with a market capitalization of 144.42 billion yuan.
