Du Yunfei, Director of Cluster Innovation and Simulation of Huawei Computing Product Line and Chief architect of Cluster Computing, in his keynote speech on "New Trends and thoughts on the Development of High performance Computing applications", deeply discussed the development trend of high performance computing, analyzed the challenges faced by supercomputing systems under the new trend, and put forward corresponding technical thinking, in order to promote high performance computing systems to better adapt to and face the new challenges of AI.

Based on the current situation and trend of the development of supercomputing at home and abroad, the White Paper on the Development of data-intensive supercomputing 2023 was officially released on August 24, which systematically expounds the concept and architecture standards of newly upgraded data-intensive supercomputing. It aims to provide guidance for system optimization, promote the landing of data-intensive supercomputing technical standards, system architecture and application demonstration, and promote the radiation capability of China's supercomputing industry, applied technology and scientific and technological innovation. At the meeting, the opening ceremony of the "Digital Twin Joint Innovation Center" jointly built by Guoshi Group and Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. was also held. The Innovation Center is the first digital twin research institution in the field of marine industry in China. Based on the national strategy of marine power and "Digital China", and supported by high-performance computing, the Innovation Center aims to speed up the breakthroughs in the key technologies of marine digital twinning, create an independent and controllable open platform for marine digital twins in China, and promote the digital transformation of China's marine industry.

Hu Sheng, director of Guangzhou Institute of Tropical Marine Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration, pointed out that the popularity of new technologies such as high-performance computing, big data and artificial intelligence has made weather forecasts more and more accurate in time and place. Chen Bin, head of the operation of Wuhan supercomputing center, said that Wuhan supercomputing center, as a new infrastructure of Pratt & Whitney computing power, will provide high-performance computing power to the government, enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions across the country, and promote the upgrading of local industries and the high-quality development of the digital economy. Wang Xinliang, technical expert of HPC solver, and Wei Wei, compiler architect, looked forward to the technical development of high performance computing from their respective professional fields. In the technical keynote speech, Song Changcheng, an expert in Huawei computing system optimization, expounded the joint design and optimization of software and hardware for Kunpeng architecture.
