CTOnews.com learned from the report that GAC Group invested more than 3.1 billion yuan in R & D in the first half of the year, and added 1435 patent applications, including 616 invention patents and more than 16,000 accumulated patent applications, including more than 6000 invention patent applications.

The Group produced and sold 1,196,900 vehicles and 1,163,000 vehicles, up 3.93% and 1.14% year-on-year, with a market share of approximately 8.8%. The production and sales of passenger cars were 1,196,800 and 1,162,800 respectively, up 3.94% and 1.14% year-on-year respectively, and the market share in domestic automobile enterprise groups was about 10.32%. Among them, the domestic sales volume of passenger cars was 1,139,700, up 0.49% year-on-year; the export volume was 23,100, up 48.69% year-on-year.

In terms of vehicle type, SUV and MPV sales increased by 1.33% and 26.45% year-on-year respectively, while cars decreased by 3.98% year-on-year. In the first half of the year, the production and sales of new energy passenger vehicles were 246,400 and 236,300 respectively, up 118.04% and 108.51% respectively.

Data show that GAC passenger cars achieved production and sales of 181,800 vehicles and 188,100 vehicles, with year-on-year growth of 7.27% and 8.97%. GAC Chuanqi realized the production of 182,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 7.3%; the sales volume was 188,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 9%, and the market share increased by 10% year-on-year.

GAC Ai 'an realized the production and sales of 216,700 vehicles and 209,300 vehicles, with year-on-year growth of 117.39% and 108.81% respectively, among which the sales volume of AION Y series exceeded 90,000 units in the first half year, with a year-on-year growth of 105%.
