CTOnews.com August 25 news, Yinguniverse Group (original Yingke mutual entertainment) released the performance report for the first half of 2023, total revenue 3.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 23%, month-on-month increase of 38.4%, mainly due to the impact of external environment and market competition since last year; sales cost of about 1.796 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 23%, mainly affected by revenue reduction; Gross profit was RMB1.33 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 23%, and gross profit margin was the same as 42.6% in 2022; profit was about RMB190 million, turning losses into profits; adjusted net profit of about RMB210 million was recorded after deducting the impact of adjustable items such as goodwill impairment provision (non-IFRS measurement).

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the sales and promotion expenses of Yingyu were RMB962 million, up 11.3% year-on-year, mainly due to the Group actively creating innovative product matrix and increasing marketing efforts; administrative expenses were RMB100 million, down 83.3% year-on-year, mainly due to the Group no longer having goodwill impairment provisions during the reporting period; R & D expenses amounted to RMB142 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 24.3%, mainly due to the Group's continuous adjustment of operation strategies to optimize staff structure, resulting in a decrease in staff costs.

By the first half of 2023, Yingyu had an average of 28.094 million monthly active users, down 5.7% year-on-year; the average monthly income per user was 18.5 yuan, down 18.5% year-on-year; the cumulative registered users of marriage and love business nationwide reached 40 million, promoting online and offline dating times of more than 35 million times every year, and monthly active matchmakers exceeded 20,000.
