This mission is the eighth consecutive successful launch of Ceres I series of commercial carrier rockets, the fourth successful launch this year, and the third launch in 35 days.

It is reported that the wide-range 02A satellite has achieved a number of key technological breakthroughs in the design and manufacturing stage. On the premise that the performance index is equivalent to that of the "Jilin-1" wide-width 01 series satellites, the weight of the whole satellite has been successfully reduced from the 1200kg level of the wide-range 01 satellite to the 230kg level, which will provide users with high-definition satellite imaging products with 150km width and 0.5m resolution, with the characteristics of high resolution, large width, high-speed data transmission and low cost.

After the successful launch of the satellite, the networking process of the "Jilin-1" satellite constellation will be further accelerated, and the large-width and high-resolution remote sensing information resources of "Jilin-1" will be expanded. it can provide richer remote sensing data and products services for land and resources survey, smart cities, agriculture and forestry development and other fields.

At present, the Ceres-1 carrier rocket has entered a period of intensive launch, and it is expected to usher in its ninth land launch and its first sea launch in the near future.
