CTOnews.com, Aug. 24 (Xinhua)-- according to a video on the X platform (formerly Twitter), a VR head display that is almost certain to be the Meta Quest 3 has been unpacked ahead of time, and the device was not supposed to be officially released until this fall.

In the video, the opener can be seen taking out the head display and two Touch Plus handles from a brown box, and the device looks exactly the same as Meta showed when it was announced in June.

Recently, a suspected Quest 3 VR header appeared in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database, meaning that it has been approved for sale in the United States, so Meta is probably preparing for the listing of the head display. The company also promised to share more details about the headline at the Meta Connect event, which begins on September 27.

Meta announced the Quest 3 VR headshow on June 1, priced at $499 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3598 yuan) and will go on sale this fall. This headset is the latest in Meta's Quest series, with higher resolution, faster refresh rates, more powerful processors and more comfortable designs.

This is not the first time the Quest head display has been leaked in advance. Pictures and videos of the head display were released in October last year, about a month before the Meta Quest Pro was announced, when someone left the device in a hotel room.
