CTOnews.com, August 24, according to South Korean media Korea Daily, Samsung plans to hold an Real Summit 2023 event on September 12 and will launch its own version of generative AI.

During the event, Samsung will disclose information about generative AI to the public, the media and Samsung customers, with many skills similar to ChatGPT.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the ChatGPT-like developed by Samsung mainly serves internal employees at this stage, providing functions such as optimizing programming code, writing e-mail, and recording document summaries to improve employee productivity.

The media is expected to start testing features such as optimized programming code in October and make the tool available to employees by the end of 2023 or early 2024.

As for the name of the service, the media speculated that it might be called "Simply Chat", and the company submitted a trademark application to the Korea intellectual property Information Service Center (KIPRIS) earlier this month.
