CTOnews.com August 23, the open source model library company Hugging Face is conducting a new round of financing, CTOnews.com has earlier reported that this round of financing is led by Salesforce Ventures, an investment arm of Salesforce.

Hugging Face has also launched SafeCoder, an enterprise-oriented code assistant, which officials say is "designed to improve the efficiency of software development through secure self-managed programming solutions."

According to the ▲ graphic Source SafeCoder blog, SafeCoder is developed based on the StarCoder model, optimized for enterprise self-hosting use, has efficient reasoning, adaptability and "ethical" data sources, is proficient in more than 80 programming languages, and can make personalized code suggestions for users through collaborative training with Hugging Face. Proprietary data is always secure, and customers can gain personalized code generation models that increase autonomy, vendor independence, and control over AI capabilities.

SafeCoder claims that this is a set of "comprehensive security-oriented commercial products" in which the code is kept in VPC throughout model training and reasoning. Its customer-centric design supports internal deployment and ownership of large language models of code, just like personalized GitHub Copilot.

In addition, Hugging Face announced a partnership with VMware to provide SafeCoder,VMware 's current internal use of SafeCoder on the VMware Cloud platform and shared a blueprint for rapid deployment on its infrastructure to ensure rapid delivery of value.

Officials say SafeCoder supports a wide range of hardware options, including Nvidia, AMD, AWS and Intel's GPU and CPU, providing customers with "a wide range of choices." At present, Hugging Face has released such a "commercial tool", which is obviously preparing for financing.
