According to the data, Chongqing factory is Beijing Hyundai's fifth vehicle manufacturing factory built in China, claiming to be Beijing Hyundai's "most advanced" factory. The factory started construction in 2015 and was officially completed and put into operation in August 2017. It covers an area of 1.87 million square meters, with a total investment of 7.7 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles.
