As a global leader in embedded artificial intelligence, building a leading intelligent cockpit for the smart car industry is one of Hong soft's goals. Chen Feng said that the intelligent cockpit aims to achieve two core tasks: one is to create and improve driving safety. For example, in many countries, such as China and the European Union, the government has or plans to require vehicles to install driver monitoring systems to monitor drivers' fatigue and concentration, so as to avoid potentially dangerous driving behavior. The second is to build a more comfortable and entertaining driving space, which enables the car to understand the status of drivers and passengers through perceptual technology, and to provide them with more personalized services. For example, when the driver gets on the car, the perceptual system can understand the driver's ID, so that the vehicle system can adjust the seat according to personal height and posture preference. At the same time, it can also automatically adjust the air conditioning temperature and multimedia settings according to its preferences, and adjust the rearview mirror according to the line of sight. These functions make the driving experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

In order to achieve these functions, sensors need to be installed in the vehicle, which can be two-dimensional camera or three-dimensional camera, in which 3D ToF camera has great application potential in the intelligent cockpit. Chen Feng pointed out that 3D ToF image combines spatial depth information and 2D image information, which can provide a variety of information about the distance and shape of objects in the scene, and is suitable for face recognition, human posture recognition, object detection and environment perception and other applications. In the field of 3D ToF, Hongrou has a long-term and close cooperation with Infineon, and has developed a series of valuable products based on 3D ToF perception, which can be used in smart cars, smart phones, XR and other fields.

Chen Feng said that all this is not an idea, in fact, Hong soft has turned these ideas into reality, and the current models equipped with Hong soft car vision solutions have been mass-produced in China and other regions.

Among them, Hong soft's ArcSoft ToF 3D Face ID technology is a typical case applied in intelligent vehicles. This technology not only has accurate recognition ability, but also has super anti-counterfeiting ability of face recognition. It has not only passed the certification of Bank Card testing Center of National Financial Science and Technology Evaluation Center, but also reached Google's test security standard. It is a 3D face recognition algorithm that can be used for payment level, and it is in the leading ranks in the world. At present, this technology can be applied to car-machine login, door unlocking and personalized service setting and other functions.

In addition to face recognition, 3D TOF can also greatly improve the ability of gesture recognition, especially in 3D gesture interaction. Based on this, Hongsoft launched a 3D ToF gesture interactive vision solution, which allows drivers to control on-board devices from space to space, realizing functions such as music switching, volume adjustment, air conditioning control and selection of multimedia content, thus injecting more convenience and fun into the driving experience.

Chen Feng said that although Hongsoft has not been involved in the automotive industry for a long time, it is developing rapidly. the main engine factories that cooperate have included Great Wall, Changan New Energy, Geely, Shangqi passenger cars, United, ideal, Dongfeng Lantu, Honda, Dongfeng Nissan, Chery, Sinotruk, Geely Lecker, Volvo, Changan Mazda, Ruilan, Polar Krypton and other mainframe manufacturers. At the same time, Hongsoft is also actively laying out overseas markets to empower global car companies. the current Hongsoft driver monitoring system has been verified by EU regulatory and testing agencies, and at the end of this year, more vehicles equipped with Hongsoft intelligent on-board vision solutions are expected to be mass produced and put on the market.
