CTOnews.com, August 23 (Xinhua)-- the Indian Lunar ship 3 probe, which includes a lunar lander and a lunar rover, was launched on July 14 and is expected to attempt to land on the moon today (August 23). If the landing is successful, India will become the fourth country to land on the lunar surface.

India has announced that it will broadcast the landing at the moon's south pole around 20:34 Beijing time on August 23, and no official link has been released yet.

If all goes according to plan, the six-wheeled rover will pop up after the lunar landing and explore around rocks and craters on the lunar surface, collect data and images, and send them back to Earth for analysis.

This is the third lunar exploration project launched by India.
