Generative AI can bring direct reply and increase the retention rate of Baidu users. Baidu Library is internally testing an AI assistant function. Test users have doubled the amount of time they spend on Baidu Library, and they are more likely to become paying users.

It is worth mentioning that Wen Xin's word has not yet been officially launched and is still under internal testing. Mr Li said Baidu was waiting for regulatory approval. There is no specific time to launch, but he is very optimistic about the regulatory environment.
