Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, Aug. 23, according to DigiTimes, the price of Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be at least $100 higher than the previous generation.

It is reported that the starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro will rise from $999 to $1099 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 8012 yuan) or $1199 (currently about 8741 yuan), while the starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will rise from $1099 to $1199 or $1299 (currently about 9470 yuan).

A sharp rise in prices is likely to dampen sales of this year's new iPhone Pro, which is expected to ship only about 77 million iPhone 15 series this year, below the initial forecast of 83 million. It also reflects the overall downward trend in the smartphone industry, where sales will fall by more than 5% compared with last year.

The reason for the increase in the price of the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models is unclear, but it may have something to do with the new technology they carry. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and analyst Jeff Pu have previously revealed that Apple is considering raising the price of the two models. Analyst Jeff Pu also said that the iPhone 15 Pro may be more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro, and Pu thinks the starting price for the iPhone 15 Pro may be $1099, which is higher than the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro.

The iPhone 15 series is expected to be released on September 12, with bookings open on September 15, followed by shipment on September 22.
