CTOnews.com August 23 news, the acclaimed horror adventure independent game "Little Nightmare" series has been released for six years, the series publisher Tarsier Studios announced at the end of April "Little Nightmare" series cumulative sales exceeded 12 million. Little Nightmare 2 was released in February 2021, but there has been no news about a sequel.

At today's Cologne 2023 opening ceremony, officials officially announced the long-awaited "Little Nightmare 3" first promotional film, and confirmed that the new film will be released in 2024, is expected to land PS5, PS4, XSX| S, Xbox One, Switch and PC platforms.

According to reports, this game was not developed by Tarsier, but by Supermassive Games, which developed Until Dawn, Black Phase Collection and Quarry.

CTOnews.com has learned that Tarsier Studios, the developer of Little Nightmare, was acquired by Embracer Group in December 2019. The studio officially withdrew after the release of Little Nightmare 2 in 2021, so Bandai Nanmeng Palace now owns the IP of the Little Nightmare series.

In February 2021, Tarsier said it would no longer produce the series and instead focus on new IPs. Bandai Namco Palace said in a separate statement at the time that they would push forward the series "vigorously."
