Tuyuan BYD official account CTOnews.com learned from the BYD official account that the BYD B12C01 double-decker bus can hold 69 seats, with six priority seats, an oversized seat and a wheelchair dedicated area, with a total capacity of 97 people. The vehicle is equipped with 30 USB ports, high-speed WiFi and air conditioning; it can be recharged from 0% to full charge in just 2 hours and has a range of up to 280km.

At present, BYD's pure electric bus business covers Latin American markets such as Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Uruguay. Around the world, BYD's electric buses have spread to more than 70 countries and more than 400 cities.

It is worth mentioning that BYD recently showed off an electric bus K8M at the 47th Washington State Transportation Association (WSTA) Public Transportation suppliers Expo, one of 11 BYD buses that recently joined the Link Transit fleet in Venacci, Washington, with a maximum capacity of 32 passengers and a range of 196 miles (about 315.43 km).
