Of the 25 most expensive advertising companies in the United States, Procter & Gamble is the only one that has replaced Bluebird with the new X logo in its social media contact information, while other giants such as General Motors, American Express, Amazon, Comcast and L'Or é al still use the old Twitter logo, according to Insider. Two of the 25 companies, Expedia and IBM, do not display any social media logos on their websites.
Company X released a new brand toolkit earlier this month that includes logo templates and other marketing assets for marketers to use. But some brands may not have time to update their websites, and brand experts say the reluctance to use the "X" logo may mean that people are still confused about Twitter's rebranding.

Marissa Mulvihill, partner and head of branding and activation at consulting firm Prophet, says the X logo also has an inherent user experience problem because it looks like a "close" button on a browser window or application.
