The biggest improvement of Mercedes' updated EVA2M platform is the introduction of the self-developed eATS 2.0 electric engine, the new 800V high-voltage charging system, and the gearbox will change from single-speed to two-speed, which can adjust the output and power consumption more dynamically and reasonably.

CTOnews.com quoted the media as saying that after upgrading to the 800V high voltage system, Mercedes-Benz's EQE and EQS platform models support 200kW in charging speed, which is significantly higher than the existing 170kW limit.

Moreover, because there is less heat generated during the charging process, the car should be able to maintain a higher charging rate for a longer period of time, which in turn will shorten the charging time of the owner.
