In terms of Debian, RISC-V China Community official WeChat released news that the Debian community has formally accepted riscv64 as the official support architecture, while Debian is beginning to support Godson LoongArch architecture, and now DebianPorts has added support for Loongson LoongArch architecture, which means that DebianPorts archive images and their infrastructure include LoongArch architecture.

The initial Debian LoongArch bootstrap contains about 200 software packages, and developers are still working on self-managed software, and after a certain stage of work, Debian plans to start running Debian package builds on Loongson-hosted LoongArch CPU hardware.
