CTOnews.com, August 21, 2010-Century Interconnection announced today that Skype for Business Online, operated by Century Interconnection, will be retired on October 1, 2023. At that time, Microsoft Teams will replace Skype for Business Online as the main communication tool for users in Office 365 or Microsoft 365.

According to Century Internet, organizations can migrate to Teams from now on. Microsoft and Century Internet are committed to helping organizations successfully transition to Teams, and organizations can use the features in the Teams management center to upgrade users.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Microsoft stopped using Skype for Business Online on July 31, 2021, and Teams, as the successor to the tool, has been pre-installed in Win11.

The domestic version of Microsoft's Skype for Business Online service, operated by Century Interconnection, was suspended more than two years later than the official.
