# Application scenarios of DHCP relay:

Usually when the DHCP allocates too many network segments, the DHCP service is configured on the gateway router, which is too stressful

Usually we use the second router, or the second DHCP server, to share the business.

Here a dedicated DHCP server is set up to configure the IP address for the PC
