CTOnews.com learned from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that Gaofen 12 04, which was developed by the eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, is a microwave remote sensing satellite specially arranged by the national science and technology of the high-resolution earth observation system, and is mainly used in the fields of land census, urban planning, land rights determination, road network design, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and reduction.

The long 4C rocket is a normal temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. it has the ability to launch satellites of various types and different orbits, and can carry out more than one satellite launch. its 700 km altitude sun synchronous orbit carrying capacity can reach 3 tons.

It is understood that the long 4C rocket was launched in March 1999, launched for the first time on April 27, 2006, and named long March 4C in April 2007, with its comprehensive performance reaching the advanced level of similar international three-stage rockets.
