Medium and heavy trucks: 63597 vehicles (including Foton Daimler products of joint venture company) were sold in the first half of 2023, with a year-on-year growth of 9.16%, a share of 11.6%, and a year-on-year decline of 1.7%.

Light trucks (including micro-trucks): cumulative sales of 207804 vehicles in the first half of 2023, an increase of 22.6% year-on-year, a share of 17.3%, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.

Large and medium-sized passenger cars: In the first half of 2023, the cumulative sales volume was 2871 vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 19%, and the market share was 7.5%, which was flat in the same period.

Light passenger vehicles: cumulative sales of 27427 vehicles in the first half of 2023, an increase of 52.7% year-on-year, market share of 14.8%, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year.

CTOnews.com noted that during the reporting period, the company exported 60582 complete vehicles, an increase of 30.8% compared with the same period last year, and sold 137785 engines, an increase of 19.18% compared with the same period last year. Among them, Foton Cummins engine sales 98166 units, an increase of 6.88%; Foton engine sales 39619 units, an increase of 66.74% year-on-year.

In the first half of the year, Foton Automobile realized revenue of 28.845 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 24.47%; net profit attributable to listed shareholders was 657 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 177.88%; net profit deducted from non-profit was 411 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 463.48%.
