How can you not try to shoot the stars on a summer night?
If you happen to have a camera or a cell phone that supports professional shooting mode, and a tripod, try shooting stars on a clear night.
Under the right conditions, ordinary cameras and mobile phones can take good pictures of the stars, and it is easy to record the Milky way and star orbits:
1. Shooting conditions to take pictures of the stars, the appropriate natural conditions are very important.
First of all, choose a clear night. Cloudless and transparent air is the best. Summer nights are very suitable for shooting stars. After heavy rain, there will be many stars in the night sky.
Secondly, we should pay attention to avoid light pollution. In addition to urban lighting, we should also pay attention to moonlight. Nights with a full moon and strong moonlight are generally not suitable for shooting stars.
We should also pay attention to the specific shooting time, especially in the suburbs and other places close to the city, sometimes it looks like the sky is completely dark, but the sky is still affected by light reflection, and the shooting effect may be better in the early hours of the morning.
two。 Camera setting many people always worry about the picture quality when shooting the starry sky, so the sensitivity is very low, so it is difficult for the camera to capture the brightness of the stars.
When shooting the starry sky, we need high sensitivity, large aperture and long exposure time, so that we can not only record the stars visible to the naked eye, but also capture the stars that we can't see or can't see clearly.
Taking the shooting of the Milky way as an example, we need a wide-angle lens with a large aperture, and the wide-angle end of 16-35mm F2.8 is more suitable for shooting the starry sky.
At the same time, we need to maximize the aperture, the sensitivity is about 2500-6400, and the shutter time is about 20s.
Focus the lens to infinity, as long as the environment is right, you can take a good picture of the Milky way.
3. Noteworthy astronomical scenes such as the Milky way are spectacular, but the shooting conditions are harsh. It is almost impossible to photograph the Milky way in big cities, but we can choose to shoot other interesting scenes:
(1) the conditions for orbit shooting are not as harsh as those of the Milky way, as long as there are more bright stars visible to the naked eye.
If we pursue the concentric circle effect, we can aim at the north sky and take the North Star as the reference point. Finding the North Star can be achieved through "Star Walk2", a free and very practical stargazing app.
Shooting a star orbit also requires a large aperture, but it does not need a very high sensitivity, about 1600.
All that is left is a long shooting time. For obvious star orbits, you need to take a lot of photos (more than 100 for better results). We can use the shutter line to shoot at intervals, and when it is finished, you can import the stack to get spectacular orbit photos.
(2) the Big Dipper, which is also a representative star in the sky, and these stars are relatively bright and can be observed with the naked eye.
When shooting the Big Dipper, we can also use "Star Walk2" to find it, with the right ground scenery, we can take a good-looking picture of the stars.
We can also make appropriate adjustments at a later stage, such as increasing the brightness of the stars, to make the photos look better.
(3) Venus is the second brightest star in the night sky, second only to the moon, so it is also very suitable for shooting.
Venus is called "rising Star" when it appears in the eastern sky in the early morning, and "Changgeng Star" or "Evening Star" when it appears in the western sky in the evening.
Morning and evening are also good times to photograph Venus. Venus can be seen when the sky is still slightly bright, and the photos are very ambient.
