CTOnews.com August 19, TechInsights industry analyst Abhilash Kumar yesterday published a research report on its LinkedIn, predicting that "Indian assembly" will account for more than 10% of iPhone 15.

The newspaper pointed out that the trial production of the iPhone 15 series in China was launched in June this year, while the trial production in India was not until August this year.

In terms of models, Apple's suppliers in China will produce all four iPhone 15 series models, while India will assemble two iPhone 15 standard models between 2023 and 2024, the report said.

The research newspaper points out that Foxconn's plant in Slipperumbudur is responsible for assembling the new iPhone. In addition, in the Indian market, in addition to Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron will also follow mass production.
