According to CTOnews.com news on August 18, ZTE today released a report for the first half of 2023, with operating income of 60.7 billion yuan, an increase of 1.48% over the same period last year. Net profit belonging to common shareholders of listed companies was 5.47 billion yuan, an increase of 19.85% over the same period last year. Net profit belonging to common shareholders of listed companies after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 4.91 billion yuan, up 31.78% over the same period last year. From the market point of view, in the first half of 2023, ZTE's operating income in the domestic market and the international market reached 43.11 billion yuan and 17.59 billion yuan respectively, accounting for 71.02% and 28.98% of the operating income respectively. Domestic business increased by 6.19% compared with the same period last year, while international business decreased by 8.47%.

In terms of business, in the first half of 2023, the operating income of ZTE operator network, government-enterprise business and consumer business reached 40.81 billion yuan, 5.87 billion yuan and 14.02 billion yuan respectively, accounting for 67.23%, 9.68% and 23.09% of operating income, respectively.

The network operating income of operators increased by 5.40% compared with the same period last year, mainly due to the increase in revenue from fixed network products and carrier products; the business income from government and enterprises decreased by 12.37% compared with the same period last year, mainly due to the decrease in domestic integration projects and international market income; consumer business income decreased by 2.60% year-on-year, mainly due to the decrease in international mobile phone product revenue.

Looking forward to the second half of 2023, ZTE said that it will invest heavily in the research and development of forward-looking technologies such as 5G-Advanced, 6G, AI model and vertical model, and that the domestic market will seize market opportunities such as digital economy and artificial intelligence, and the international market will focus on the healthy operation of big countries and big networks.
