CTOnews.com, August 18 (Xinhua)-- Technology market analyst Canalys today released a report on China's smartphone market for the second quarter of 2023. The data show that China's smartphone market fell 5% year-on-year in the quarter, narrowing the decline. CTOnews.com collates the ranking data of shipments as follows:

China's smartphone market shipped a total of 64.3 million units.

Vivo ranks first with 1140 million units shipped and 18% market share.

OPPO (including one plus) came in second with an 18% share.

Apple ranked third with 1040 million units shipped.

Glory ranks fourth with 1030 million units shipped.

Xiaomi's market share rose to 13% month-on-month, continuing to rank fifth.

The report said that vivo's first market share was due to the control of inventory levels and the release of a series of new products. As for OPPO, it is because of its solid online performance and its channel capacity has also been strengthened.

In terms of high-end models (more than 3500 yuan), high-end phones in the Chinese mainland market can be said to be "rising against the trend", up 21.8% year-on-year and exceeding 30% of Chinese mainland's total smartphone shipments. The top 10 shipments of models over 3500 yuan are as follows:

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max

Apple iPhone 14 Pro

Apple iPhone 14

Huawei P60

IPhone 13

Xiaomi 13

Glory 90 Pro

OPPO Find X6

IPhone 14 Plus

Huawei Mate 50

It can be seen that among the top 10 models above 3500, Apple's iPhone accounts for half of the total, Huawei occupies two seats, and the rest is controlled by OPPO, Xiaomi and Glory.
