Among them, the most powerful AI training H100 GPU has become a hot item. Foreign media Tomshardware reported that Nvidia plans to sell more than 550,000 H100 acceleration cards this year, but this claim has not been confirmed by Nvidia.

Tae Kim said sources told Raymond James of an investment banking company that the H100 GPU cost $3320 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 24236 yuan) and that the company sold the GPU for $25000 to $30000 (currently about 18.3 to 219000 yuan).

While this may not take into account other costs, the Nvidia H100 GPU is a "super gold mine" in terms of the cost-to-price ratio.

Benefiting the industry's demand for Nvidia GPU, Morgan Stanley, a prominent investment bank, had previously said chipmaker Nvidia would benefit from "huge changes" in the AI sector. Huang Renxun, founder and CEO of Nvidia, said in a keynote speech at the SIGGRAPH conference in Los Angeles earlier this month that the company made a life-and-death business decision in 2018, betting everything on AI.
