From January to July, the volume of express delivery in the same city totaled 7.26 billion pieces, down 0.7% from the same period last year; the volume of express delivery in other places completed 61.43 billion pieces, an increase of 17.0% over the same period last year; and the international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express business volume totaled 1.61 billion pieces, an increase of 57.2% over the same period last year.

From January to July, the business income of the postal industry (excluding the direct operating income of the Postal savings Bank) totaled 848.23 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% over the same period last year. Among them, the total revenue of express delivery business reached 649.53 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% over the same period last year.

In July, the mail and delivery business of the postal industry completed 13.16 billion pieces, an increase of 9.7% over the same period last year. Of this total, the volume of express delivery completed 10.77 billion pieces, an increase of 11.7% over the same period last year.

In July, the business revenue of the postal industry reached 119.45 billion yuan, an increase of 5.3% over the same period last year. Of this total, the revenue from the express delivery business reached 95.24 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0% over the same period last year.

From January to July, the volume of express delivery in the same city, other places, and international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accounted for 10.3%, 87.4% and 2.3% of the total express business respectively, and business revenue accounted for 6.0%, 50.6% and 11.2% of the total express revenue, respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business in the same city decreased by 1.7 percentage points, that of other places increased by 1.1 percentage points, and that of international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan business increased by 0.6 percentage points.

Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express business volume and revenue in the eastern region decreased by 1.2% and 1.0% respectively, while that in the central region increased by 0.9% and 0.7% respectively, and that in the western region both increased by 0.3%.
