According to introduction, as early as 2022, Chuangwei Automobile started the establishment of the right-hand steering vehicle project, taking the first step of deep cultivation of overseas vehicle model projects. During the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, Skyworth officially announced that the right-hand steering car is further advancing to the lower end of the market line with the second-generation model. On August 17,2023, the first right-hand steering body-in-white was rolled off the assembly line, marking a step further from the mass production of the right-hand steering vehicle, which is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.

CTOnews.com inquiry learned that the current global layout of Skyworth cars has reached 45 countries and regions, and the off-line of future right-hand steering models will help Skyworth cars land in more overseas markets.

Skyworth also revealed that the company will release 800V +4C high-voltage fast-charging technology at the Technology Ecology Conference on September 5. Different from pure boost technology, the 800V +4C super fast charging technology released this time belongs to the global high voltage solution. All high voltage components, including electric drive system, power supply system, air conditioning system, thermal management system, battery system and charge and discharge system, are brand-new developed according to 800V high voltage platform, claiming to be the first 800V true high voltage technology in the industry. In addition, Skyworth Automobile will also build a super fast charging station integrating light storage and charging.
