According to the report, Kuaishou's rank system has been officially implemented since the beginning of 2019 and is divided into professional "K" sequence and management "M" sequence according to the value contribution of the group. When the new rank system becomes a single sequence, it will be named after the English letter "E".
Kuaishou made it clear for the first time that in the future, at least 90% of grass-roots management cadres will come from the goal of internal selection and training; in addition, it has also put forward clear requirements for managers to lead teams to continuously get results, and managers should be both professional and managerial.
In terms of specific ranks, Kuaishou has previously divided into different gears in the professional and management ranks. For example, K sequence has 5 large files and 14 small files; M sequence has 3 large files and 9 small files. According to the new rank system, the number of ranks will be changed to E6-E15, with a total of 10 grades, with consecutive numbering and no more subdivision.
IT House inquiry found that at present, the major Internet companies have the news of rank adjustment. According to "later LatePost", Tencent, Douyin Group, which is owned by byte Jump, and Taotian Group, which is owned by Alibaba, are all planning to make adjustments to the current rank and management system this year:
Tencent will reduce the level of cadres, reduce the management role of the business, and promote the organizational level of the company to be more flat.
Douyin Group is considering adjusting the "level 5, level 10" employee rank system that has been in place for more than five years, but the plan has not been decided.
Taotian Group is considering increasing the ranks of grass-roots employees (P sequence is changed to 14-28) and simplifying the way of promotion; it also plans to adjust the OKR assessment system to a parallel OKR and KPI assessment system with KPI as the main assessment system. In addition, teams of more than ten people enforce end-to-end elimination.
Taotian Group officially issued the "Taotian Group employee performance Management system" in an internal email yesterday, which came into effect on the same day. Performance management is evaluated on a quarterly basis and in three stages.
