CTOnews.com inquiry found that the official website of Weilai has changed the name of "ET5 travel version" to "ET5T". Weilai said that replacing the "travel version" with the ET5T hopes that the car will be aimed at the larger mainstream family car market, rather than just the station wagon segment.

The Weilai ET5 travel version, which starts at 298000 on June 16, is known as "the world's first intelligent electric station wagon". The body is in the shape of the travel version, the roof line extends back to the rear wing, and the sloping D-column is designed with spoiler. Support for optional electric trailer hooks and roof luggage / roof tent accessories.
